About Us

CrossFit North Okanagan is a 4800 sq/ft. fitness coaching facility in Vernon, BC. We are fully equipped with the latest in CrossFit training rigs, functional equipment, showers and a designated kid’s area, located just off 27th st in Vernon, BC. We offer group and individual coaching, utilizing the CrossFit methodology. CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity, confused? Come try a class and find out!

What To Expect:

At CrossFit North Okanagan you will not find cardio or weight machines, you will be the machine! What you will find is pull-up bars, kettlebells, barbells and open space for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing – we want you to move your body how it was designed to move. This means that your workout will comprise movements you perform on a daily basis or during sports, movements we call “functional”. You would never bicep curl your child to pick them up, so why would you do it in the gym? We focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities.

This also means that you will never get bored! With our constantly varied programming you will rarely do the same workout twice in any given year. You will never have to program your own workouts or spend hours in the gym. Instead, each day a new workout is posted for you that is scalable to suit your fitness level. Every workout is supervised and lead by at least one coach who will help you perform the days WOD and scale the movements where necessary.

Our fitness programming aims to improve your capacity in ten recognized fitness domains cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. The result is comprehensive physical fitness and restored vitality.
